7 up machine ......................looks pretty cheap.........
whats the piece on the front door bottom right? many thx

Its a late 60's to mid 70's Vendo 56. The part on the coin door is a can puncturing mechanism. Before cans had pull tabs it had to be punched open so you put the can in and push the handle and it puts a hole in the top of the can. They are asking WAY too much for the machine. Its probably worth $250 to $400 max.

Mechanical. it would leave the same triangle hole and a hand can opener.

I got one of those on my machines. Not a good idea to use it with a modern can (just had to try it ends up spraying pop all over the opener, machine and also inside the machine) but the little drain hole in the bottom makes a great place to store the key. (that is if you have the machine at your home)

I paid $125 for my 56 can machine. The can opener even had a heater on it to sterilize the point.
