Just today, a guy called looking for a Cornelius Compact 50 in a DP theme. His father-in-law passed away and had this cooler for some 20+ years; however, it was left to another sister but he wanted to have one like it... I have not seen one of these in the DP green w/ a DP medallion and light-up marquee... Title: Re: Looking for a Cornelius Post by: Pat Pixley on December 29, 2010, 10:21:10 pm Jim Sent you a message.

Title: Re: Looking for a Cornelius Post by: BrianB on December 30, 2010, 06:39:17 am My wife and I went and took a look at an old house, circa 1900, in our city's historic district the other day. After looking at the upper levels of the home we made our way down into the basement. I was poking around in a corner looking at electrical and plumbing when the wife calls out "Hey, look at this, it's a Coke machine!" I almost snapped my neck in two turning around to look.
Turns out it's a Cornelius Compact 50 with rack and everything! It surprised me to see the machine down there and I was equally surprised that my wife found it before I did! There's hope yet!!! The owner of the home lives down in Florida full time now. If we end up making an offer on the house I'm pretty sure the machine comes with it. So should I look at it from the standpoint of the house comes with the machine or the machine comes with the house....... Title: Re: Looking for a Cornelius Post by: Kilroy on December 30, 2010, 07:43:21 am Jim Sent you a message. Title: Re: Looking for a Cornelius Post by: MCarter on December 30, 2010, 02:10:27 pm Brian,
Make sure you put it in your offer to purchase that comes with the house. Do you want me to start the offer? Title: Re: Looking for a Cornelius Post by: Jim on December 30, 2010, 04:20:22 pm Quote There is a Light up Dr Pepper Bar for the back of a Corn 50 on ebay right now.. John,You you recall the section/category...? I just searched several areas but came up empty... Thanks ! ! ! Title: Re: Looking for a Cornelius Post by: BrianS on December 30, 2010, 09:21:22 pm I just went and checked on a bottle rack I have for a C-50. It's the chrome rack, not the painted one. Not quite as nice as I remembered it, some small scattered rust spots, but would probably clean up pretty nice with a little elbow grease. Plus the price is right. If you find a cooler without the guts, you can have the rack. It came out of one I bought for next to nothing on a whim a while back. Took a risk sight unseen and it turned out the cabinet was shot. Kept the rack and coin mechanism, recycled the box. If it turns out you need one and are interested, just let me know and I can send you a pic. Good luck on your hunt.

I am not positive but I think the can racks were for the larger cornelius cooler only. I have had several of both and I have never seen a compact 50 with a can rack. I have only seen the larger cooler.
