Just had carpet put in my basement . What are you guys using under the machine or under the leg levelers to protect the carpet ?

I use those magic gliders under my arcade games. Makes it easier to pull them out to work on and it doesn't sink into the padding much. I cranked the levelers all the way in on my 63 and it just sits on the floor.

I have casters on my machines.  But, I have taken a piece of plywood, cut it down, and covered it with a mat.  That way, the machine displaces its weight over the entire piece of wood.  You could also cover the plywood with a leftover piece of the carpet, so it will look like a perfect match to the casual glance.

I have a peice of diamond plate metal under my machines.. distributes the weight and looks cool too!
