Here is a picture inside my coin acceptor these coils are toast. They are not pulling in which is causing the coins to be rejected. I tried to remove them and they were so brittle when I pulled the wires off the coils fell apart. Do I need them in place or can I just leave them out?

Sorry the picture is side ways I did turn it and it turned it self back.

I had this issue on my Mills. You can have them repaired or you could just zip tie it together so it always accepts the coins. The only issue is if its out of stock it will accept the coins and won't reject them. This is only a problem if you were using it to sell to a customer.

I had the coil on mine rewound and it works fine now. I wanted my machine to work as it was intended so I had it repaired. There is a method to winding them correctly. You need the correct gauge wire and the right amount of winds. Yours is a completely different set up but I would assume it obtains the same objective from what you stated about it rejecting the coin.

What I did is just remove the armatures from the coils.

A while back I found new coils that will fit, but they are pricy...
