i have vedorlator vf-56b-f. does anyone know how old this machine is?

Welcome to the board! Could be anywhere from 35 to 50 years old. Jim is spot on (big surprise:-), need a picture or two to be sure of the vintage. Plenty of folks here that will help.

Welcome Monster - unless you have some markings inside the compartment (sometimes their are dates written / stamped on the galvanized steel walls), or on stickers inside the coin mech door.  Unfortunately, nobody seems to know whether or not VMC coded any info into their product numbering or serial numbering schemes (like Vendo did for awhile).  I have a VMC56b-k and my understanding is that these machines are late 60's.

So tell us about the machine... is it working? are you looking to fix. restore or sell?
