Hello

How do you remove the back retaining nut on the coin door lock? Two of my machines I had to drill the locks off & the whole lock came right apart because I could remove the slide lock bar.  Now I have two machines with (V126-V56) that have complete locks but I cant remove the back nut because the slide bar is in the way. Is there a special wrench?

Let me know

Kevin

If yours is like mine, I just inserted a screwdriver near the top of the slide bar and nut and applied a little pressure it slid up just a little way and I was able to
get the screwdriver in there and remove the other screws.

Post a pic, this way i'll know if i gave you accurate info or not.

Hey

The home computer is belly up right now so no pictures.  This is not a screw but the large nut that holds the lock barrel in place.

Kevin,
Just remove the cam first. Its a close fit you just get a small turn. Give it some Liquid Wrench or oil and you may be able to spin it off with your fingers. Or just take the slide out of the way. It's just a couple of cotter keys on mine.
