Woo Hoo! I just received clearance to go to the Chicago show so if the weather is good I'll be headed out Thursday afternoon!  happydrinkers

I’ll be taking a completely empty van and a nearly empty wallet so if anyone needs anything transported between Chicago and Kansas City let me know!  tounge

Seriously though, I’m just looking for a U-Select-It candy machine and a Vendo 44 coin bezel so I should have room.

I've never been before so I'm really looking forward to the show. biggrin Cool biggrin

I hate to say it, but the forcast calls for rain. down

I just decided to recheck it and now it says partly cloudy, which means mostly sunny.  With a 20% chance of rain.

Hopefully, the weather will be nice!! hopefull

So, are we meeting for lunch?Huh?

I don’t mind the rain so much; I just don’t want to be driving through my first snow storm of the year. hopefull

I don’t know about the forecasts you watch but the ones here seem to be reliable to only about two days out when it comes to precipitation. They are pretty good as to temperate predications as much as a week away but I never pay much attention to rain/snow forecasts until it gets closer.

I'm up for Lunch, are you thinking friday or Saturday.. I'm only there on Friday and I know Eric and I for sure are getting together.. There is a place in downtown St. Charles with a bunch of cool nostalgia stuff hanging all over the place, SOda/Gas Oil, advertising... I think would be the perfect place.

Who's joining us!?? happydrinkers

I'm going to be in town Thursday Night too.. don't know if anyone wants to get together for a beer or two Thursday night??
I'll be in the lot EARLY on Friday, I'll be wearing a Yellow Packers Hat Not sure if anyone wants to "HUNT" in packs or do your own thing that morning? I'm open to whatever... I usually like to look fast for the first hour or two then maybe hang with someone and look more? Open to whatever...
Lunch I think where thinking later Lunch like maybe 12:30 - 1? that should be late enough and I'll be starving by then?
Thoughts?? wow

This message is to the guys going to the Chicago show...

Chaps I'm after a favour. I just took delivery today of My Twenty One Trade Stimulator after a seven hour round trip .

Its missing its instruction card and holder as well as the gumball vendor. These sort of toys are non existant here in UK  and apart from a telephone number Roger (Crowriver) has provided I'm really in the dark..

This is where you guys could help... When you are looking in the hidy holes for all the bargains could you plse, if you see anyone selling this sort of machine grab some contact details.. Telephone numers e-mails etc.

The Instruction card is the biggie I can live without the vendor...

As always any help would be gratefully recieved...

I just wish I could be one of those deciding where to have lunch and dinner...

Happy Hunting..

Dave

PS...Sorry to hi-jack the Chicago Thread...
