Ok, I've got a local offering me a Cavalier CS90 ( I'm assuming from the Pic's) for $200.00 , but claims compressor runs but it doesn't cool, so go for it or pass? Like I stated in the title caption, I'm more of a Vendo/Westinghouse guy, I'll try to post the (poor quality) Pictures he's sent me...here goes.

Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes.
Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon!
The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p
Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor
11 is louder than 10...
"Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

Never had a Cavalier but any time I think I can get a machine for <= $200 I get interested.  Non-functional cooling systems scare me as I assume worst case is a rebuit replacement.  But otherwise it looks like eveything is there except for a few shelves?  I'd play up the bum refrigeration system and offer something in the $125 range and see what happens.

Ok, I'll admit it, I bought my Cavalier because  I thought the "Have a Coke " bezel lighting up after dropping in enough change was tre' kewl.

I don't think you could go wrong Johnie

I think that may be a CS-96...
And I agree with Bryan's statement on the price; however, I'm sure you can put something together to get the refrigeration functioning...

I thought I was a Vendo man until I got my first Cavalier and now I love them!
I'd buy it in a second. Wish it were near me. Are all the shelves there? Or is it missing some?
Probably just needs a new fan or fan motor.
Congrats!

Thanks for the support guys, Yep it's actually a CS-96 as Jim mentioned earlier, got it home tonight, the line cord looks like it was attacted by a rabid wolverine, but a quick check out with a "suicide-cord" will tell the truth on the compressor issue ( after I let it settle in the upright postion overnight) the vending circut & coinmech (a Coinco S-75-9400 series) and the evap' fan are working just fine, so does the "Have-a-Coke" light & the correct change lamp. it's 95% complete & all the shelves are accounted for, found the lock in the coinbox, but the coin door locking bar is missing & the light up signs face (plexiglass sign) is too small, looks like it should fit a CS-80, about an 1/4" too short, you can see a gap at the top of the frame, but it lights up OK. looks like I'll be giving Steve over at Funtronics a call shortly for a sign & a wiring harness, other than the stated issues, it's fairly straight & pretty clean...I think I did all right for a "buck-fifty"  Thanks for all of your input!  Yes, pictures will follow after I clean it up & buff it out a bit.

That's really great johnieG.
By the way, I think you have an extra "f" in that. It should be a "buck-fity".

Ltran,
I have a model E (waiting for restore). From what I've been able to research, most of the differences are cosmetics, a gold bezel as opposed to a silver bezel, trim on the bottom, no trim...

Johnie, Congrats to ya. I think it's a fine addition to your collection

Well, remember that I said it's 95% complete? one small item that is missing is the I.D. Tag, my coin entry bezel is silver in color, (not gold/anodized) so I'm guessing a "D" model, (maybe) '<img'>

Hey Johnie. can you add some sort of spacers to the light frame to make it look uniform?
Got your package yesterday, 8 rebuilt coinco S-75 coinmech's.  I'm jazzed. Thank you.    '<img'>
