Has anyone ever seen one of these. Looks to be a lovely looking machine and would look great next to a Vendo coin changer.
I would imagine the estimate is very low.

Boy, I would love to own one of those, especially in that condition. Beautiful deco look and I've never seen one like it. I think you're right on the estimate being low.

Looks supper clean, & with an extra cool Deco look for sure, but I'd hope it still has its guts, seems odd they can't open it given the nature of the auction.

Well, I bought it.  I overpaid for it, especially when you add in the extra 25% seller fees, etc., but I wanted one for years and figured that by the next time I see one, the price would go up even more.  Especially if people start developing an interest in them, just like the Popperettes did and any other unknown or little known machine.  It's still cheaper than a Vendo changer and five times as large.  Now I'm just waiting to be contacted and hopefully the guts are inside, otherwise I'll probably spew out my guts after seeing that I just bought a cool looking shell.  biggrin

Thanks Dave for bringing it to my attention.  I frequently google, ebay, and Craigs list this machine, but they do not come up to often.  Every five years or so.  I really like Mark and Jills greenish blue Nickels machine.  Who are they?  I don't know.  They had one on their web site a few years back, but their web site went away a few months ago.  The picture is still out there.  I'll have to find it.

Here's a similar link from Ebay that just sold.

Wow those 2 look really alike.

I don't think you over paid (unless it's missing the guts).  It's a super cool piece.

Well it arrived triple boxed!!  No damage at all.  I asked my youngest son Todd to pick the lock for me and he nailed it in less than a minute.  The guts are there.  biggrin  biggrin  biggrin  biggrin  It's only missing the small metal rod that is used to return bad coins on the dime side.  The coolest part is that after Todd opened it up, out came a set of keys and five nickels.  So it only cost me $999.75.  laugh  laugh

Boy that lock pick set was one of the best toys I ever gave that kid.  Oo  tounge  oops

That's pretty neat, five columns for the quarter change side and two for the dime change side.  I presume it was easier to design in that fashion unlike the Vendo Coin Changer that releases the coins from one chute.  Sure must make it pretty heavy though.  Thanks for the photos, very cool item.

Only about twenty five to thirty pounds.  The aluminum face is pretty light.  My dual Standard changer was fifty-five pounds.  All steel, except for the coin tubes.

Lloyd at Coinopwarehouse just posted one up on his FB page, $800.

Thanks.  I like that piece a lot.  Mine was around the same price prior to auction fees and shipping, but when it's something I really want I would rather over pay and get it than squabble about the price and wish I bought it.  Mine was cleaner, but that one will polish up just as good.

I don't know about anyone else, but anything I ever bought from Lloyd either was missing parts or broken.
