I bough this machine at the Springfield, MO swapmeet about two weeks ago, It was complete with the exception of the coin mech. But thanks to Rugrunner I was able to complete the machine. I will post more pics as it goes back together. Its very dirty as it was recently wetsanded and buffed, I did the lettering today by hand, It needs a little touchups here and there but overall im happy with it. Joey

No thanks needed to be sent my way, Joey was very helpful to me in giving me a solenoid for the Cavalier I am about to start on and giving me a great price for the coin mech I no longer needed as well as some free advice!
Joey, got your package today! Thanks again.
Looking forward to more pictures of this project!

I agree, Joey...looks awesome! Do tell what brushes you use! I've thought often about attempting my own lettering, just don't know what tools to use.

Well here comes the redneck out of me, I used the cheapest set of brushes money can buy, I bought 20 brushes at a local farm store clearance bin. I think they cost $3.00. I had to pull the loose hairs out of them before I started. Joey

Did that have a Tecumseh compressor unit? What is the current replacement model?

Here are some progress pics. I have a new mirror stainless lid being made for it. other than that its about done. On the VMC 81 DP I got all the powder coat back and it is starting to take shape as well. Joey
