I own a older vending machine that appears to be converted to a 7-up machine. It's an XF-39B. It is a dime machine with a fountain on the right hand side. It looks like it was professionally converted by 7-UP. Can someone give me some info on this machine such as when it was build. I'm thinking about getting the compressor fixed so it works. I'm also wondering if these have any value as 7-UP conversions. If not can they be restored as Coke machines or do they lose value after restoration - in other words to they need to be original.

Thanks

Convert it to Coke!       Take that cheesey plate off the front and display those large embossed letters. After all it really is a "Coke" machine, right?
The value will also be higher if you remove the drinking fountain before restoration, as they make it difficult to wheel through doorways. Besides, I don't know anyone who would want to hook up a waterfountain in their livingroom.

I would change it back to Coke, The value would be there
if it is restored . And as far as the water fountain that is
totally  up to you .  One thing I've learned, do it the way
you want , Don't let others tell you how it should be done.
