Hey guys it has been a while since I have been on here. I know I said I would keep you guys updated on the 81 restoration. Unfortunately it has been gathering cob webs! I finally started working on it again yesterday. I want to thank Jim and everyone else who contributes on here. I was having problems installing the bottle door glass ( I got 3 pieces of glass cut). I searched on here and found some great tips, and I finally put it back together. I shined up the door with compound, attached some new stainless steel screws, and now she looks original but nice. Thanks again everyone for contributing. Now that I had this small victory, I am once again inspired. I am at work on the main cabinet (rust bucket). I will attach pics along the way.
