New Energy Standards for Soda Machines

I like how this article talks about machines that are less than 20 years old, but show a picture of one that's about 50 years old! 

I wonder if this fact from the article includes our machines too?

Estimates are that 3 million beverage vending machines sit in the U.S., or 1 for every 100 Americans

For a while I thought that estimate was a "asstistic" you know pulled out of ones backside. But then I did the math for my town we have 6500 people so that means there should be 65 pop machines here. I can believe that figure since Walmart, Cub Foods and Menards have at least 15 on there own.

I bet if we did a total for the group here we would have very skewed results....like two soda machines per person in the household. (I have one for one).

I don't know.  I did the math for my city.  35,933 people, which means 359 machines...even with the university and apartments, that seems awful high.

The whole "green" thing is BS. CO2 is 1% of so called green house gases and humans only produce a small fraction of that small fraction.

Also, to plants CO2 is like oxygen to us.  The lack of CO2 is what keeps plants from taking over the world. The entire thing is nothing more then a scheme to control our behavior.

The world was a better place when we didn't have to worry about this BS

If we don't stop playing along soon life as we know it will no longer exist.

And those numbers seem high to me as well.
