I was cleaning up the workspace a little while back and thought I would share a pic. This is not all of my mechs and the variety is always changing. None of these are from any of my machines.
Just thought it was a cool pic!

I think I see a canadian 44 mech in there. Can I get a closeup pic of that?

Nice to see a few small door changers as these aren't that common!

My six cents,

I need some closeup pictures of the small door/ large door conversion mech. I just need the coin chute area. I have a mech to copy but mine is missing the chute at the top. Some good pics and even a drawing of it would be great. I am still going to make a conversion. plate

Josh - No Canadian mechs - never yet seen one personally!
The SD mechs up front are for V-39/C-51, V-81/V-110 and a rare spare C-27
The LD mechs in back are mostly for the 81D, but there is a VMC-44 in there and one SD/LD 81 mech.

Josh,
I just finished putting together a VMC-44 SD/LD mech and learned something new about them. The SD/LD 81 mech has a different (shorter) coin chute than the 44. Since the 44 utilizes a coin chute on the top of the rejector (unlike the 81) in a common LD mech, a taller chute on the SD/LD 44 mech is necessary. Same design though.

Ok I think I understand. Could you send me pictures of the differences at your convenience? Do you have a SD/LD mech unrestored that I could borrow? I really want a Canadian mech like the one I have pictured. This plate would be easier to duplicate. If anyone has one I will buy you a regular coin mech to replace it. I need this to make the adapter plate to adapt a small door mech to a large door machine.

Josh,
Here is a pic of the two different Coin Entry Chutes on the SD/LD mechs. The one on the left is for the 56/81/110 and the one on the right is for the V-44/VMC-44/VMC-88. You can see in the 2nd pic of a VMC44/88 change-giver mech the rejector chute I have circled - this is removed on an 56/81/LD110 machine.

The other difference that is not pictured is the SD/LD V-44/VMC-44/VMC-88 mech has a special Sold Out linkage to activate the knockout arms on the mech preventing the rejector from accepting coins when the machine is empty. There is no such sold out flapper on the 56/81/110, so it is not applicable.

I don't have the Canadian coin mech. Josh, but I have that slug rejector if you
ever need it!
