 I've had this machine sitting around for a couple of years now and just started fixing it up. It was pretty rusted inside. I wasn't going to pull the liner untill I was advised to by guys that know better. Under the liner there was a couple holes but I fixed them with fiberglass and por 15. The door is off for sand blasting but the body I'm going to leave as is because I like the scratches and chips. Unless of course it doesn't look right with the door painted. We'll have to see. |

Welcome! Nice little machine! The Pepsi decals are available from www.sodajerkworks.com if you decide to repaint the cabinet. You may want to think about installing a lighted sign up top. It really sets the machine off! |

You have it down this far you should repaint the whole thing, you will regret it later. I learned that from a Vendo 90 that I had years back (funny how those darn Vendo 90 keep coming around  ) What ever you do Keep up the good work. Pat |

Now is time to paint the cabinet while it is stripped. You don't have to copy
the red and white theme.......do it all blue like Pat's Lacrosse.

The bumper is off a 1956 Coup de Ville I drove from Bakersfield CA to Ohio back in 1985. It was in restoration when I got divorced. This was the only part I saved before she had it towed.   The engine is an all alluminum Ford. 347 stroker. AFR 205 heads, Custom billit oil pan etc,etc. |

I'm glad you mentioned the POR 15. I've used that for several years on car frames. It is miraculous to me how that stuff works. I've never seen a harder finish from a paint can. And, once it dries, it is practically indestructible. (And, when it gets on your hands or arms it has to wear off.) I just bought a quart of their gloss black to do a motorcycle frame. I expect the same results. They have a gray/silver color that is supposed to look like new metal. I'm thinking about doing the bottom of my box with that.
Anyway, it looks like you're making good progress. Be sure to post pictures all the way through the process and especially when it's finished. Thanks!

I replaced the solenoid with a new one but still didn't work. All three of my coin changers are no good.
Dang ebay.
Anyway I'm in the hunt for a coin changer now.
