Well, our little baby boy finally arrived Tuesday morning at 11:20 AM! He was 8 lbs, 8 oz and wore the War Department completely out! I'm trying to convince her that he needs a nice soda machine to welcome him into the world and to equip his nursery! Not getting real far with that one yet. This is our 4th child, but first boy, so I'm elated to say the least! Greg

Congrats on your newest soda machine collector. I think you should use one of the portable hand carried coolers as a bassinet and then you can work him up to a Westinghouse cooler for a crib.

Congrats Greg! Seeing as he was 8lb-8oz (big boy), then maybe you should get an 88 or two 44's in his honor!

Greg,
Here's a shot of my kids when they were really young.
A WD-12 is all you need. Once they are done sleeping, you remove the mattress. Now you have a playpen. This will pass the war department because it's practical.
Anyone who met me and my son at the restaurant. He's the one on the right. He was about three feet shorter then.

Thanks, everyone! The whole gang is doing well. Great ideas on the carrier/crib/playpen! I'll see what the War Department thinks of these ideas! I believe a good paint job and my Westinghouse Standard sitting in storage would be a fine crib! Pat...his name is Hayden Wyatt Nelson. Tom...outstanding idea! The War Department was just saying last week when we went into the hospital that she wouldn't mind us getting a nice roundtop Pepsi machine sometime...and I've been wanting a Pepsi 88 for a long time. Hmmmmm... I'll pass the good words to Mamma as well! Greg
