Hello Carrie,
I'm not sure if a later model V-63 vending rack that vends cans can be utilized in place of a bottle vendor...? Perhaps someone may have knowledge of accomplishing this...
If the shelves are in their respective positions and provided you have a small hand, you could open the door and feel for a shelf at each bottle opening...
In most cases, people here found it easier to drill out the lock and replace it.

Nice machine!, however it is a bottle vendor, there is a V63 can model too, but to convert your's to vend cans, it would require a vending rack & the shelves out of the other type ogf machine, I recently saw such a rack on Ebay (greed-bay ) the guy was asking $125.00 & it looked pretty rusty, & it did include the shelves too but he gave no clue as to if it was functional, so I passed it up, if you like I could forward the Item no. to you, but I've seen them come up now & them on Ebay, or you could look for a doner machine, or sell yours & buy the can version.

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

Thanks, I haven't actually purchased the machine yet, just looking into it. I'm trying to find an older machine to vend cans, don't really care what kind it is, just for my husband's garage, so I guess the only criteria is that it vends cans and looks cool so he'll be the envy of all his friends. Thanks a lot guys.

Kidbrett, Sounds pretty good to me, but I'm not sure if the shelves are in it or not. I've e-mailed the seller and asked them to reach in and see if there is a shelf at each slot. Send me an e-mail at carriescakes@ev1.net and I'll reply when I know about the shelves.
Thanks, Carrie
