I finished a few of my smaller projects this past weekend... First is the base to my U-Select-It Candy Machine, I had the top (main part) done for a few months, just got around to finishing up the base for ,, decided to go a two toned look so it's not just all blue... Added a litte Chrome Bling Bling along the top ridge.. I think it turned out pretty nice.. Second is my Coke Cleveland Neon Clock, Picked up the clock last fall, Took the whole thing apart, cleaned it, replaced some wiring and repainted the case more of an original Green/Blue Hammertone color. Put it all back together and put in a new repro marquee top sign as it displays better than the original ... Just gotta find wall space now... hmmmm Thanks for looking...

John...both look real nice!! I really like the two-tone base on your candy machine. The clock is just gorgeous as well! Makes me want to finish up a project or two.

John
I do like that two tone finish and where did you get the chrome from???
I have my U Select booked into have a pukka Paint Job done next week and have still not decided on the colours.
I promised my little girl Pink but my little boy wants it done the same colour as the machine on "I Carly". He'd get mega cudos for that at school.... We've been trying to pause TV shots to get a good look at it...
That clock too is awesome... Could only dream of something like that...

Great job, John. That U-Select looks awesome in the paint scheme and the Cleveland Clock is just as nice or better! Like the others, I'd really like to have one someday.

Thanks for all the comments, Dave the Chrome Trim is a plastic chrome trim, available in many sizes, pm me if you'd like the source.. I buy it in 20-30 ft rolls or if you want some, PM and I'll sell you some.. Josh, the electrical swithc on the side, I'm not sure if original or not.. I'm guessing not but the guy I bought it from has had it since Coke gave it to him and he had it mounted on his old gas station in southern wisconsin, he said he put the switch on there so he could turn the neon on and off when he closed his shop down.. but keep the clock running.. I just left it as I too like to turn the neon on an off...

Yes, it's a Rustoleum Hammertone product, Color is called Verde Green and It's available at Menards,, possibly Home Depot or Lowes as well. Here is the link to the rustoleum site: http://www.rustoleum.com/CBGProduct.asp?pid=29Also , I've attached a photo of the clock lit up... have to hang it on the wall yet ... There are a couple of reflections in the face,,

Very nice job John ! ! ! You could replace the switch box with a weather proof toggle switch... Or get a repro of the pull-chain switch available from Wayne's Neon Clocks, here's a photo: Cleveland Pull-Chain SwitchThe neon clock I purchased a few months back has one installed; looks/function great! Just last month, I received my mounting bracket from Wayne's Clocks and have the clock hanging on the back patio.
