Kind of grabs your attention doesn't it? Those posts claiming unbelievable finds and deals.
Mine was a free Victor 3 door, A friend alerted me to a post for a free "Coke cooler" not 3 miles from my front door. I saw the pics, grabbed a friend, a trailer and headed over immediately. It was used by a sorority in UNC Chapel Hill for years until it stopped working then it was put in a back yard.
What's your best deal ever story?

Best deal, not soda related, but Gas Pump, Got a Wayne 60 Pump for for $25.00, that is what the old farmer thought he could get in scrap for it.. Plenty of good deals on soda stuff.. that is what keeps the "HUNT" alive.

I'll always look back on my Wayne 866 acquisition for $120! I did have to remove it from its original placement as well... I have also acquired a couple Cleveland Neon clocks for next to nothing! (Sorry for the poor image, it was from an old reference Site and was quick to include)

Not soda, but a few years ago I got a Mills Vest Pocket trade stimulator for £60. In really good original condition, sold it a few months later to a guy in Portugal for £240!
