The guy's wife says make an offer.  Claims that the machine is complete.

What is a reasonable offer assuming it is complete?  I have a feeling that this is one of those complete machines that we "never plugged in to see if it cools"!

I figure if the guy's wife is responding and she wants it out of the house I may be able to negotiate a pretty good deal!

Is that the one on craigslist? I would start low $200 and go from there. It sounds like she wants it gone.

I did one up for my father-in-law. Cool machines! I paid $600 for it unrestored but that was 6 years ago. I'd say $400 - $500 max if complete. A standard box alone is worth $200.
