Is this machine a Vendo? Is it a round top or is it square top?

It's a square top Vendo, 1960's. You see al ot  of then in the woodgrain vinyl.
If I had  the room and monry i'd be grabbing these left and right and sitting on them for 5 -10 yrs .  As the roundtops get out the  reasonable price ranges for the someone looking for a machine for the family room,  their popularity will increase. Just my opinion I also believe the Bee Gees  were behind Nixon's resignation, so my opinion may not have a lot of weight

Agree with Kilroy,
Except I thought ABBA did in ole Tricky D :-) Of the ST's I've had the Vendo 56 is the worse  constructed. Thin steel, poor fit and finish etc.. The Cavs, Selectivend and even VMC are
much better. Bunch more ST 63's than 56's = more parts available. It's all in what You like though. I'm fond of the early "can puncher" machines.

The 63 is a much nicer machine than the 56, IMHO... I was on a hoarding spree for a year with these.. I've since run out of room, and have started weeding down the stash a bit... The USS-64 is even better as it can do cans and bottles..

I've got a little  Vendo  HA56 B  down stairs  it runs Great
but I'll be honest I would rather have a Cav CSS64 any day,
I think it's a better built machine and more solid.

whether it be a 56 roundtop or a 56 squaretop they are both crap when it comes to the material they used for the bodies. They are prone to dents, dings, rust, rot, and falling apart. Ive had 7-8 56 roundtops all were rough, I know where a nice original sits been inside all its life and it still has beltline rust. I dont know why they rust so bad but they do???

I've had that experience with the square top 56's but most of my round top 56's have been without cancer.
