Hi Guys, have not been on for a long time, I just sold the victor hotdog griller, Did not want to sell but could not turn down the offer, Had a guy who wanted so bad he was willing to pay very big bucks, bought brains 3 dr pepper coolers and his mills machine, very nice, great guy to deal with,  jeff wolf

So what was the offer that could not be refused? Just curious what a restored Victor Cooler Grill is going for these days.

Congrats and welcome back. As  cool as the Victor Grill is (and  boy is it)  the free space  just means you can move more cool stuff in it's spot.

Well Congrat's Jeff it has to be kinda a great feeling  to have something like that and
to be able to sell it for that amount $$,$$$.00   and also a sad feeling to watch it go
knowing that there are only a few left , and you sold one of the best restored one out
there .

 Plus now knowing Kilroy would have traded his sister for that victor Cooler
it has to be a gut wrencher .

or may not have a idea what one looks like can see what a restored one looks

I guess it's time to pull all of my Victor grillers out of the garage and finish cleaning them up!!

Ok, I will admit, when we had the Victor Kooler Grill all packed up , air tight. I went to get my truck and NO! keys, after looking for about 20 min. Tom, says you sure you didn't wrap them up in the machine, O-----%$#&@ Unwrap and guess where they were, inside the Kooler Grill. But Tom, did get a chance to feel the weight of the Kooler Grill, on his finger. Hope your finger is doing better Tom and a big thanks to Tom for all his help. When I got it home, it took 5 guys to get it off my truck and on to my trailer. I will send a picture of the Kooler Grill in it's new home. Thanks Curtis, Memory Lane Restorations

That machine has got to be the coolest set up ever assembled!  Truly a work of art!    Should have been called the Victor Koolest Grill! 

Thanks for sharing the pictures as that is probably about as close as I will ever come to one!

Beyond the Grill--that is an awesome collection of stuff--the only thing I don't see is a nice (memorylane restored) Stoner candy machine!

Did this guy have all the plumbing, etc. set up to use it or is it strictly a display item for him?

This was a customer of mine not more than 2 hours from my house, he saw photos of the Grill and wanted it, I called Jeff and put the deal togather and both men are happy campers. Now remember, Jeff and my other customer have never met and only talked one time and that was when I was at Jeff's house picking up the machine. I could have left the country for a great vacation?? But both of these guys are the best of the best and not to mention, they have to much money and would have hunted me down and put me in river with a new pair of shoes. Alot of trust has been built with both of these guys. Anyone out there dealing with Jeff, he is a man of his word!!!! A true friend. You won't find a nicer, more kind hearted person than Jeff and his wife, two of the best people I know. If you think his soda collection is nice, you should see Jeffs Air Meter collection, WOW!!!  WOW!!! WOW!!!

Your looking at 9K and 15K for a drum Air Scale restored the way Jeff likes things, 100% MINT. Now I didn't restore any of his gas items but I did find and pick up most of the gas items for him. You guys don't even want to know how much Jeff has in the gas items alone. Lets just say, New House!

There were only 50 made and to date only 8 have been found and 4 have been restored. They were Mfg. in my home town (Hagerstown, MD) about 2 miles away at the old Victor plant. I have been through every Sq. inch of that building, even up in the lofts, nothing left. Theres a Lumber Yard there now. Across the street, theres an old RC Cola plant and in the concrete floof there is a steel plate and in the hole in the floor is where they dumped all the old RC Cola bottles. There must be a million old bottles in there.

I asked my Dad about my Grandpa's bottling plant he had in town and he said he too remembered a well that they used for water for bottling until the 70's.

I then asked if they ever use to throw stuff down the well, and he said actually yes. the well was very large and the opening very large so they use to throw those old vending machines down there to fill it up. He said they had these old Hot dog maker coolers, a few other machines that would take the bottle caps off the bottles and a bunch of Yellow Machines with the workds RC Cola on top or something like that!... all down the hole..

I'm going to get my shovel!
