Trying to find estimated value

Found a very good working machine in grandparent's barn, it's been covered and boxed and still works, and was wondering what it's value might be? BTW I enjoy this site and will tell many of my friends looking for soda machines of it so they can find what they are looking for.

Nice!  '>  We might need a little more info though, are there any model no.s ?and of course a picture speaks a thousand words , can you discribe it as a square corner machine, rounded corner, upright, chest (horizontal) type multi-button/flavor, does it have a light-up sign? a glass door to pull the sodas from bigger that a bread box ?  you get the Idea. It can range from a few hundred $ to over a thousand, (or some undisireable machine only a mother could luv & you'd have to pay someone to haul it away (I hope not) '>  cruise into the soda machine listings & see if you can find a model that looks like yours and lets go from there...JohnieG

It's a chest type with 4 doors and rounded corners. The thing is very big! The Model # CGD-C is all I could find as far as a model goes. My brother thinks it was a type of machine used in soda shops. I don't have the other details right now but I will see if I can get pics. and dimensions. It looks a great deal like the CI-10 in your listings but I think it is even bigger. '>

Is it all red, or two tone red body with a white "face" & red lettering (on the front & rear "drink Coca~Cola" ? are the lids stainless steel or painted? sounds like a cousin to the CD-22
in "classic soda machines field reference" by Jeff Walters 3rd edition. like the book says,though bigger isn't always better, the prices are lower on the bigger machines because the demand (and finding the space to put one) isn't there, but they're still cool machines for your deck, pool-side, etc. they hold soda's & salads for the BBQ real nice!

Just got back on-line, it's "2 tone" one side is white with red lettering and other side is red with white lettering. Back lids are stainless steel and others are red painted. It doesn't have a vending place but has a place where a plate has been installed over where the vending slot should be. About 68 or 69 inches wide by 37 or better inches deep and stands about 36 to 40 inces tall. I'm not where it is so I'm guessing and having someone look at it for me. Galvanized lining inside.

I bought one of these a few years back on Ebay for $300.00. Had to put a compressor in it, and it needed a paint job, new liner, and 3 cap catchers.
After using it for a couple of years, I stripped it all down, had a guy strip and paint it. I had a sheet metal shop build a new liner, and I bought new lid gaskets and pans from FunTronics or Memory Lane.

In snooping around the Net, I figure this is now a $3500-$4000 box. Went to Canton a few months ago, and they were selling a repainted one for $4000. Did not look inside to determine it's condition. Last year at Canton, there was the Westinghouse cousin that a guy said worked, and was in about the same condition as mine was originally. He wanted $300.00 for his.
