Some of you might have noticed that I've been away from the machines more than usual this year. I have been kinda lurking in the background and admiring some of your new finds and restorations. I have been very involved in my other hobby. Collecting, restoring and racing vintage/ Post vintage dirtbikes. I think I'm up to 23 bikes now. We just finished up the AVDRA National race series, had to travel to several races in here in Ca. as well as Nevada, Arizona and Utah. I was racing four different classes and walked away with four National championships as well as the "Ironman" Title for the most accumulated points. I am also chasing national points for the AHRMA series with a few more races in Ca., New Mexico and Texas. As well as a couple of regional series here in Ca. Looking forward to returning to the coke machines here in a few months. The Vintage racing folks are just like the coke machine people here, always eager to lend a helping hand.

Awesome Terry ! ! !
Keep going for as long as you're having fun and as long as the body can withstand the abuse...

People say I should stop skateboarding due to my age... Naaghh ! ! !
I just saw a guy win the Moto-X racing at the X-Games 14 the other day and he is 47 ! ! !

I'd like to see a photo of your vintage bikes lined up too!

My six cents,

Jim
