To remove the plexiglass sign, open the coin door and remove 2 screws from the bottom of the sign frame, then pry it out from the bottom since there are 2 locating pins at the top.

Nice score! These machines look great with a fresh coat of paint and new decals. Check this out. This is the exact same machine as yours and it once started out looking a lot like your machine.

Thanks for the help on the sign.Does Wal-Mart sell that bulb size or is that a speciality bulb(no markings at all on mine).Already have taken shelves out--cleaned and hammerpainted them. They look great!!I'm sure I will have tons of questions to come later.Again--THANKS!!
J.D.
Also, what is it worth in present condition? Not going to sell, just wondered.

Congrat's! Woodgrain or not, it's one of the cleanest machines i've seen in a while with it's original finish. enjoy!

Spoon-feeding Newbies since 2001... Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes. Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon! The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor 11 is louder than 10... "Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

Looks great! And I like the woodgrain! My USS 64 was my first machine and is my everyday user machine. It still has the original finish and woodgrain and I am going to keep her that way. Tim
