Found this on my local craigslist last night... went and picked it up this morning..
I'm 99.9% sure it's a quickcold standard, but has an SS Tag on the bottom.. Either way, i love all the 7up embossing... needs some work on the lid, but overall I'm pretty happy with it.
What is the value of these anyhow? just want to see if I got a decent deal on it..

It's a S&S just before they went Quikold..... embossing is different and I think they only debossed 6 bubbles. I passed on one a few years back at $700 (I thought was too high) but was solid and had the cap catcher.... had been painted all white and was straight....
How's the inside?.... Why don't you just send that on down to me since you're a Coke guy
and I would hate to see you slip into the non-cola world and disgrace your family name...
So I need to know if you're gonna keep it or sell it to me? biggrin
Nice score.... CL is how I found the Nichol Kola......

Great find! Restored they fetch around $2k. Unrestored I have seen them go for $700-$1000. Hope you got a great deal!

Thanks Guys...I think it's going to be a keep for a while, but of course we all know how that goes... good intentions, but things change...
I'd actually like to own something that is not primarily RED!!! and I really like the embossing all over it.. the lids have some issues.. the handles are missing as where they mount it's rusted out..but I'll see what i can do with it...
