Well after searching for quite a while, I finally found an Ideal 35/ O~So Grape slider. it's a generic machine, but according to the former owner, I was his Dads machine from the family service station & it's always been "O~So Grape" since day one. & it looks totally original, the machine is 90% compllete, as it's missing its slug-rejector button & the slug-rejector itself, ( it's a 10-cent machine)and it's missing the key for the coinbox & the lock & key for the service door, no biggy, other than the coinbox cover was beat-on with a hammer. it's straight, rust free (other than some light surface rust) & it runs! an yes, it has the bloody rack! (hard to find for a model 35) Ok..here's some pics'

Great find Johnnie! My vote is to turn it into a DP machine, but I know how you like the uncommon flavors! I have been looking for one for a while now - missed a generic 35 Vegas a few years back. I think it sold for $500 or so.

That should clean up nice. I would leave it as it is. Not too many around I would imagine.

Yeah... I vote leave it a O-So Grape... The “little brands” need a place too! Is it a decal or screened on? Would it clean up easy?..... That's the slider to have! Sweet score!!!!

No, it's not silkscreened ( painted) it appears to be a large ( really large) water-release decal. but I'll try to give the machine a good rub-out with polishing compound & see if it'll brighten it up a bit first.
