I seem to remember hearing somewhere that on certain soda machines,
the coin box and drip pan are interchangeable.


Is that true?

Now the coin box on one model machine may be interchangable with the coin box on another machine and so on with the cap catcher and drip pan, but within the same machine I have never heard of that.

Maybe you are thinking of the a westinghouse cooler. Some of them with the drawer at the bottom is the cap catcher and the drip pan.
