I agree! Thanks to the brave men and women who are and have served our country. I'm proud that my son is a vet as well.

A great big thank you to our vets.  They are the reason why we can have discussion boards, hobbies, etc.  We owe them everything.

Yes, thank you.  The elementary school where I work has a Veterans Day concert each year.  I am one of the teachers who play with the school band, the chorus sings, etc.  One big highlight is when they play the armed forces medley.  Members of each service are asked to stand when their song is played. One WWII vet who always attends with his wife stands and salutes. There was a dad who is with the Air Force who stood and sang.  In this area there are a lot of parents who are military and can attend.

And yet, one of our presidential candidates refuses to participate while our national anthem is sung or when the "Pledge of Allegiance" is cited, he'll refuse to state the pledge and cover is heart with his hand ! ! !
America sure is changing... Perhaps, all of my diversity training has distorted my perception of things...

Not trying to get all "political" but, as a serving member of the United States Navy, Obama burns me up. What a disgrace to his country! He should move away....FAR AWAY! Maybe somewhere like Chad or the Sudan where he would feel more at home.

This is a holiday used to honor the veterans and those currently serving and all he can do is dishonor us and those who have gone before us!  How sad.  down
