My wife and I had just moved to Pensacola (active duty Navy) and started going to a small church there.  Outside the church's gym was a lonely looking Cavalier square top machine.  I'd always wondered if it worked as I never saw it operational but never thought to ask.  One day my wife was talking to our associate pastor about collectible stuff and mentioned I collected coke stuff.  He asked if I'd be interested in the coke machine.  Needless to say she had me on the phone 5 minutes later.  That Saturday, the lonely coke machine got a new home (after using 1 can of wasp killer to take out a nest in the machine and 4 deacons helped me load it onto a flatbed).  After installing a new cord, plugged it in and ICE COLD in 10 minutes!!!  The best part...it was FREE!!  The bad part....now I'm bitten.  I'm restoring a Vendo 144 and on the lookout for more machines......I think my wife is regretting that conversation over collectibles haahaa!! Sounds like you're going to let your wife negotiate all your deals!  '<img'>

My six cents,
