Cavalier C5-215 Running all the time and LOUD!!!

I just bought a Cavalier C5 "Dr Pepper" machine for my patio outside and I had a couple of general questions. The compressor NEVER shuts off. From what I am reading that might be a problem. It cools fine "NOT ICE COLD" but like I said the compressor does not turn off. The more annoying issue is the noise from the unit. When I first plug it in it runs pretty noise free for 30 minutes or so but the noise levels gradually increases over an hour or two. I tried troubleshooting the issue and I unplugged the unit and about 3 minutes after I unplugged it something sounded like it dropped on the inside of the unit. Like ICE hitting metal. It does this everytime I unplug it. I don't know what the "increasing noise" problem is but I can describe the sound as a fan blade rubbing against metal. It is not the fan below it sounds like the fan inside the unit. (Evaporator??) Any help would be great.

Check your evaporator fan motor and make sure it is running. If it is not running the evaporator will be frosted over in a short time. Also your box will never cool down.

or another common cause of evap' noise is an old busted piece of a soda bottle smacking against the fan blades, ( I've found plenty in my machines!)

Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes.
Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon!
The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p
Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor
11 is louder than 10...
"Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

If this noise is inside the compressor, I'm thinking of a broken wrist pin........or something else real bad like that
