I guess they are right when they say when it rains it pours.... Picked up two more machines today... I've been looking at them on Craigslist for some time now and they haven't sold so I made some more offers yesterday and this morning made a the 2 hour trek to go get em'.
Picked up this Ideal 55 slider... Was listed as a 7up slider machine, but first thing I saw was this "plate" screwed onto the machine, so figured... Ok.. mystery machine whats it going to be. Got there this morning and it was in rougher shape than in photo, so made another offer and for $75.00 loaded it up. As I'm loading it I see yellow paint so thinking Ok, Squirt or RC Cola... Got it home and it's a Squirt embossed machine... Kinda cool... I have an extra coin mech for it so it'll only be missing rack..
Then headed over to destination #2 and picked up this Vendo 77.. HOLEY COW THIS LITTLE SUCKER IS HEAVEY!!!! I had posted about it last week asking value and didn't get much response but remember one selling on ebay for over $500... so figured go for it... hagled it down ,even did the walk away bit after offering $250 (guy was at $350) settled at $275.00
It's very solid, needs new lettering on light up sign but works great and did I mention HEAVY!!!!
So not a bad day again... per someones suggestion earlier... I don't need any help... I'm doing just fine... could use some donations though...
