Anyone seen one of these?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws....=1&rd=1

Any idea how old it is?? It apparently works on an old English Penny. That dates it at least to the end of 60's. Although it does state on the machine that it operates on 25c. Surely that would have made it a very expensive game 40 yrs ago.

I remember seeing these and you have the time period right.  They are from the sixties.  Looks like he has some other vending machines in the corner of the picture also,  might be good to see what they have.

I have this exact game in my basement.  I bought it 4 years ago for $75.00.  I got it because I felt the price was good.

I don't know about the age.  It was made by Johnston Product, J.F. Frantz Division in East Moline, IL. Model # 901.

I just seen one in a antique mall in Bolivar, MO.  It was ridiculously priced at $1000.00.

I couldn't find much info on the net on these.

Thanks Frank...

You had some balls to get him down from $1000 to $75.00

I'll watch and see. Would imagine it will go for much more than what you paid for it. Who know though.

I might be lucky...

The game I bought awhile back was not the game I seen priced for a grand last May.

I was just trying to show what I seen them priced for.

Dave,

Yep, that's a 60's version of the J.F. Frantz/ABT game "U.S. Marshal" I picked up the 50's version about a year ago here is the States for around $200, which is a really good deal. Restored games go for around $600.

Here's a picture of mine. I had the gun removed for servicing and the coin door as well.
