Pulled up Craigslist this morning in Minneapolis and see this posting for a Garage sale, Has Old Pop Machine listed and scroll down to see the photo of this Vendo 81, looks to be an A or B Model, and pretty sure it's vendo as I can see someting in the lower right had corner, so pretty sure it's Coke and probably embossed under the sticker?  I email the person who listed the garage sale, no Number attached. I then try a reverse number lookup and guess what I got an name and phone number. I called and talked to the guy holding the garage sale and says... Nope just sold it about an hour ago for SEVENTY FIVE (75) DOLLARS!!!! '<img'>  '<img'>  '<img'>
I asked did the guy take it with him yet as I would counter offer $300!! the guy I thought dropped the phone and then said a sale is a sale and I can't renig on that which I guess we have to respect.  ARRGHHHHH
However I did get the guys number who bought it so it hopefully he might want to make a few bucks on it? '<img'>  We'll see...I'll keep you updated when this guy calls me back!

Well you can't blame yourself for not trying. That reverse number thing is more than I would have known how to do.

I called the guy who bought it and he doesn't sound like a collector, just a guy who wanted a machine for the garage... I offered him a chance to make some money on it and he said he'd think about it and I have to call him back on Friday after he spends some time look over the machine, I'm hopeing it has some "issues" that he will not know what to do and he'll think dumping it back on me for $150 bucks would be a good deal... or he could spend the time reasearching the machine if there is an id tag on it and find out what the value is on an unrestored machine... but we'll see.. wish me luck! Don't you have a nice Vendo 63 or Cavalier 64 to trade him that won't require him to do so much paint work?

I like the trade idea, so if he is stuck on haveing a machine in the garage I'll gladly offer up a Cav 64 or Vendolater 56... Good thinking.. ':<img:'>
he said to call Friday Nite.. so I'll be anxious all day at work tomorrow... guess I won't get much done!
