Can anyone tell me how to make the compressor on a WD-5  quieter? when it runs it makes a high pitch kind of whining noise. It does cool great however and it does cycle properly. Any ideas? thanks troy

A bent fan blade will make a high-whinning pitch.   I usually shove a rag in all fans before plugging in. When the compressor comes on, I pull the rag/rags to pinpoint the noise.

might be a copper line or the condensor coil rubbing/chattering on the frame. or deck plate
