I was just opening up this post when I got a phone
call from Mr. 7up himself. He is in the middle of nowhere
and just stumbled on another great find, but didn't have
his book with him.
Hopefully Brian will share that story with us when he
gets home

My Dec. 97 issue of Club Soda had a short article
on the Gullwing. Three models were the Pepsi streamlined icer (ice cooled), then the Pepsi streamlined
electric, and last was the Pepsi streamlined Vendor
(coin operated electric)
A coin operated version was found in a Nebraska
bottling plant, and two more showed up at Chicagoland
but all 3 were missing the vending unit inside made by
Universal cooler company for Heintz.
The article included a brochure picture of the vend
unit which I really don't understand.

Another article explains the vending a little better.
"After a nickle is deposited, a motorized conveyor system
moves the next full bottle in place under the hole on top of
the machine"

Glen,
Thanks for the pics on the Gullwing! I would love a copy of that for my research. Everyone, as Glen stated I did find another rare machine. Not sure what is going on, but them seem to be finding me! This time, I was driving and decided to stop at an old antique store. Low and behold, a vendo 120 was discovered. I will provide pics, as soon as I get some. Everything is complete with the machine, rack, coin mech and compressor. This machine is on page 128 of the Walters book. Neat little machine.
Based on Glen's recommendation I might make it a 7up machine or might just sell it to a Coke collector. This one is red with no embossing or lettering on it. Will provide pics soon!

Brian,
I'm not at home to review the book, but are you referring to a Vendorlator(VMC) 120...?

My six cents,
