They show up from time to time. I sold mine on Ebay 4 years ago for about $600 as I recall. I'm guessing you can get these from $500 - $800 depending on condition.

Thanks for the update. I figured they might go at a decent price, because you never see them and they are embossed at the bottom of the machine.

One problem with that machine. It is missing the coin mech. It needs a large door coinmech that fits a V81D V56 and so on. They are REALLY expensive and hard to find. they make a reproduction but it is $375. You could always convert it to an electric machine and slap a coinco in it but you will need a new bottle stack. But the mechanical bottle stack is a rare find and is worth about $200. this is what I did to my transition machine.

True, It is missing the coin mech. With a complete mech though, the machine seems to have some value.

The whole machine is worth about $600. They are really nice. I like them better than the round tops. But since they are worth more in parts most of them are getting parted out and scraped. That is the big reason I kept mine. I think these are the next valuable machines.

Ive personally junked around 10 transitionals, everything from Pepsi, and 7up 56s, to Pepsi 81s. I gave Josh probably the best unrestored rust and dent free 56 Cabinet in existence for a project of his that came from a transitional Pepsi. Randy has a few of these doors laying out back from machines he has scraped and also has a complete one he bought probably for parts.

Joey do you know if randy would sell a 7up door cheep? It would be easy to buy junk regular square top 56's and make transition machines out of them.
