Hello everyone, prior to this weekend I had no interest in soda machines, but then I was given this one by a guy for free! Everything seems to run great with the exception of the coin mechanism. Most coins just hang up in it, and the ones that drop through go right to the return. Anyway, can you help understand what i have here, approx age and resources to get the coin mech working?

Thanks!

the plate on the side says

Vendorlator Mfg Co
Model VF126F-A

Welcome aboard Jeff! '<img'>
It is indeed a VMC 126. Vintage 60's As far as the coin mech goes remove the slug rejector. This is the part that the coin enters into the coin mech. It will be located on the upper front of the coin mech. Approx. 5"x6" in size. Should be a couple of tabs holding it in place on the top, just lift the tabs and swing out the slug rejector. Run the slug rejector through a cycle in the dish washer and reinstall. I bet your problems will go away.

I'm in Brainerd, but grew up in the cities. My Dad is a cheesehead - lives in a little town called Luck.

If you like great BBQ ribs/chicken, take a drive to Luck and eat at the Hog Wild on Main Street. AWESOME food!
