How did you remove the old piece and how did you attach the new piece?

Did you have the new piece fabricated or does someone sell them?

I sandblasted the old one, then welded in the seam on both sides, did the bodywork, and just used double sided tape to hold it down. Randy Mitchell had a few of these made 417-485-4165 tell him I sent you.

I am a big fan of Pepsi stuff and I love it.  I have two unrestored Ideal 55 in my warehouse just collecting dust.  Maybe someday I will get to them.

To all of you non Pepsi guys out there.  This cooler is huge.  It is a GE Pepsi Double form 1947.  I still have the actual bill of sale.  I have never seen a machine in my life with more embossing.  I am lucky to have a pin stripper that loves my hobby as much as I do.
