Well I picked up my machines from N.C. (what a frick'n drive '<img'> ) I plugged in all 4 machines today and they all get cold!! They are in great shape, no major damage or rust. I need to get coin mechs and some lights for them and that's about it for totally working machines.

The place I picked them up was an old wharehouse in Franklington, N.C., when I parked the truck I started looking through the broken windows of some of the wharehouses. The last pic is of two old gas pumps, the guy didn't know they where ther, but saifd they must belong to the owner. I asked him to contact the guy, but he said he couldn't reach him... Sure they'll be on E-bay soon '<img'> . Ther guy probably called the owner right after I left '<img'>

So they are all VF90's, even though when is tagged Vendo on the front door and is a different machine (in some ways)?? I was already schooled in the vending machine section on the purchase. '<img'>

These machines were being prep'd many years ago for a vending route. The guy I purchased them from bought out the vending route and a wharehouse full of machines. While inventoring all of the machines (approx 150) he came across several older ones that he did not want. He put them on E-bay just to get rid of them out of the storage facility. He has at least 4 more, but I don't know if I'll make the 18 hr round trip to get them. He would not get them while I was there... Hoping for that E-bay big bid I guess '<img'>

He is the (by his words) the largest US dealer in antique gumball machines, showed me around and he has a lot of neat stuff and parts. His name is Scott Tidball 919-880-5725, I believe his company name is (and e-bay handle) is A1gumball. If anyone is interested...

An 18hr round trip, for that you deserve a medal. It must have been worth it to see the premier collection of gumballs in the US. I have actually bought bits and peices of the guy in the past.

'' These are great!  The second one in appears to be the 90 version of my VF110F-A.  Have you found a source for a manual yet? I'm still looking.

PS I'm a recent transplant from Nashville.  A predator's machine would be cool!

Very nice machines.  Amazingly clean looking.  Between the 4 machines, looks like you might have almost 2 complete machines + a great parts cache.

Actually all four are complete and cooling. I am excited about doing some amateur restores on them Bryan, LOL!!! I agree a Predator machine would be cool, I'll post some professional pics of my amateur restores as soon as I get the opportunity to work on one... Just yank'n your chain BrianH...

Thanks,

Dave
