I got this U Select It machine recently and can't figure out how it comes apart. '<img'>

How does the top attach to the base?

How do you get the candy mechanism out?

I can't find any screws  '<img'>

Thanks

I dont know how it attaches but I like the top part.  What an M&M display that would make...

A friend has one... I think the 2 holes on top have something to do with taking it apart or losening /tightening the inside... allen wrenches fit in it?
That's a guess....
Man that is clean and you have a base! how did you cone across that!
Would love to have one of those!

Nice machine.. I have one but its not in as nice a shape, I got for $50...

I haven't done much with it yet, but I have figured out one or 2 things... the back panel comes off the machine, and thats how you get to the belt. Inside on the right hand side, there is a lever that you need to push down I think, and the back slides down. These were meant to be wall mounted or base mounted (I took mine apart about 6 months ago). The bottom guard where the candy comes out, is on locking tabs... to remove, simply and carefully take a rubber mallot and hit it from the bottom upwards... that will come off. Then, you will be about as far as I have gotten..  '<img'>

I don't have a base for mine either... I need some info on the base.. pics and dimensions when you get a chance.. I think Northlands repops the bases, but they ain't cheap...

Curtis of MemoryLane and Jim of Northland Jukes are the guys who have gotten me that far...

I'm gonna take it apart and paint it a bright color.
The colors that are on it don't really pop, and the base being a different color looks a little odd.

Well then we're in it together Bubba '<img'>

I figured out the bottom gaurd, lifting up myself but that is as far as I got.

But if mine is on a base I don't think I can slide the back down. But I'll try.

The base doesn't look that hard to replicate so I'll be happy to get you pics and dimensions.

I'll try the back panel and let you know.
Thanks

OK Bubba,
I had played with that lever before but didn't figure it did anything I needed to do.      You lift it up.

After that it isn't very hard just some head scratching.

Here are some pics of the base, let me know what you need.

Also helps if you have a daughter who is learning body and paint work and needs school projects.  This dispenser will look great in hot pink.

I've had a few of these machines and sold them un-restored early on. I should have kept one.

Yes it does help, my little painter is getting pretty good.
A little more practice and I'll have her working full time on my projects '<img'>

Hey Bubba, or anyone that has a U Select It.
Does your machine have just the 2 adjusting holes or also a 3rd hole?
