Anyone ever seen one of these?

So I bought this on-line and it was suppose to come with the original box, it did not. So now I have to look for some help finding out what I can about it.
 Here is what I can tell you about it.
1.   It is 11”x8”x4”
2.   It has a bracket inside for a light
3.   There are no labels or stampings to ID the parts (no idea who manufactured it)
4.   The logos place it around the late 50’s early 60’ but the light socket looks newer to me (I could be wrong about the socket)
5.   The light socket needs to be hard wired (no switch)
6.   I can not see any way of mounting it to a dispenser or even a counter top (it may have just slipped down on top of something)
