This is the original condensate jar!

Along with the original compressor deck (with it's 'cap-tube repaired & a nice fresh 12oz. charge of R12) quitest one I've ever heard!

Yeah..220,221 whatever it takes.
Remember, all it needs is a shot of Freon!
The Vendo V-83 is the '59 Edsel of the coke machine world. ;p
Spray painting does NOT restore a compressor

"Hope" is good, but it's not an action plan.

What are the stickers on the bottles? Last time I saw a sticker like that on a Coke, it was from Mexico. Anyway great job John.

Thanks Pat, I used Rustolem Hammertone silver, after removing the sliders & springs, & sanding down any rough spots & corrosion on the shelves & liner, I degreased them (dried) & sprayed it on in three light coats to prevent running, this is pretty tough stuff,

(the owner didn't want to pop for the extra bucks to have it re-plated)

I don't understand why people would put a lot of money into restoring a machine and not go the distance.
How much more would a simple mech like that cost to do?
Anyway, nice job John - I too like the Hammertone look and durability.
