I'm thinking of buying a cheap newer coke machine and turning it into a gun safe, or safe in general, not so much for super security, but mostly for the fact that if someone breaks in my house, who the hell is going to think, anything valuable is inside a soda machine.  Well now they will lol
Anyone ever use the newer square tops for anything other than a soda machine?  Like maybe a coffin lol, closet, a door, a smoker, boat anchor lol

A friend called me one day to say he just came from a garagesale and they had an old Coke machine for sale.
Of coarse I almost flew the 30 miles to see it!  Wow, very nice original Mills 45 for $300.00.  The guy said he lost the key but
no sense looking inside...........Grampa made it into a gun safe!
I just sold a Vendo 39 shell to a guy who had the same idea.
What burglar would open a Coke machine looking for valuables?

I've got a complete Cavalier 51 shell that I plan on doing something with soon. These might be some good ideas! |

QUOTE That would be GREAT! I'd gladly pay a dime....heck, even a quarter, for an old Model 12, or an L.C.Smith! I have a L.C.Smith 20 ga. SxS Field gun that I use quail hunting every year. I love that gun - it is lightweight and has a long full choke barrel. My grandfather gave it to me.
My brother has said he will give me a 12 ga. L.C. Smith next time I get to Texas. The way he shoots, the double triggers pinch his fingers.
