Doing my evening browsing... Went to ColaMachines.com There is a post asking to ID this Ideal upright machine. I've never seen one and it is not in the Soda Machine Gallery here. Anybody seen this one?

I have a photo of a similar model, an Ideal C-120 that is also a three selection model. The major difference is the photo I have seems to be prior to model listed at ColaMachines based on the "Save Tabs" drawer. The C-120 I have has a can opener in the same spot. Sorry my photo isn't very good...

Jim, I do not see that one listed in the Soda Machines section. Do you not have enough info on it or what?

I'm sorry to say that I have plenty of material that needs to be added/included in the Soda Machines Section... I also have a database that has become slightly out of sync with the Site... I just don't know where the time goes... I think I'll set a couple of days aside during my vacation time around the holidays to complete some updates in the Soda Machines Section... How's that...?

I know Leonard. If I don't get to things, the hole just gets deeper and now that I'm back in school part-time, I have even less time... Oh yea, it is hunting season, but I seldom venture into the woods during general gun season... I prefer bow hunting and stay clear of the woods! Lastly, I'll be enjoying the outdoors over the holiday vacation too and will keep computing to an evening chore... I'm sorry if I came across a little strong on my previous post... '>

Sounds like you'll need a tune-up soon... I hope the injuries heal with time... Lastly, be careful not to become "one with the recliner"!
Enjoy the holidays with you and yours ! ! ! '>

So you believe it's an Ideal C-120, huh?
Anybody have an idea how much this one's worth? (ballpark figure) I'd like to make an offer on it, but don't want to ask too much...or insult the person

Hi Erik, Since nobody seems to be responding, I'll venture a guess. Keep in mind that when it comes to uncommon machines like this, parts can be difficult, if not impossible, to find. Secondly, any collectible is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it. With these factors in mind, I would estimate $300. I would want to verify that it works in both vending and cooling. I am mainly into 1950's round top machines and the square tops are not my forte, so I could be high or I could be low.

thanks for that. As far as I know, the vending works, but the cooling is up in the air.
It turns on when plugged in, but it hasn't been used in over 10 years. We plugged it in and left it on for a few hours and it leaked water on the ground. Don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, considering it hadn't been used in such a long time. I would have thought that any liquid would have evaporated by now.
Thanks again,
-Erik
