Oh, I want a slider, but this one seems to have a pretty steep pricetag.  What do you all think this is worth?

It's about an hours drive from me.

Is it generic painted RC or embossed I wonder.  $450 doesn't seem overly high or unreasonable to me since it sounds/looks complete with rack, coin mech, key. No shipping costs. Perhaps a lower offer?

The last ideal 55 slider that I bought was a pepsi. single dot. It was complete and cooled I paid 250 bucks for it.   Do you know which model it is? The 35's book for 850 and the 55's book for 425 in average condition. I have a RC 55 that is missing the rack that I picked up for 50 bucks.

Strange how the crown catcher appears to be mounted well below the opener???

Can't tell if it's embossed but ifit gets cold and the coin mech works and it does have the rack which are usually always missing... It's a pretty fair price.... You could try and talk them down.... they didn't say the price was firm... Good Luck and keep us posted!

I saw that and thought the cap catcher was sitting on the ground leaning against it, but it does look like it is up off the ground.

Had to go back and look again. I didn't see the pictures the first time. It is a late 50's ideal slider. Find out if it's embossed and make them a lower offer.

Catcher is probably hanging on the bottom pin.
It looks like a 55 non-embossed... But again the mech and rack is there...
Try a lower offer.... All they can say is no or they may counter offer.

OK.  He says he doesn't think it's embossed, but he's going to check tonight and I'll know tomorrow.

It's a dime machine, and he is willing to go down to $400.  I MIGHT be able to get it for $350 or $375.

It was posted on the first, and it's still there ....

And, he says the vending mechanisms work just fine! :-)  Well, or they did a couple of years ago when he last had it plugged in.

How much do these things weigh?
