My generic VMC 81 is now with the rest of the group. I bought this one off of ebay a few months ago. My parents picked it up in AR on there up from LA for Thanksgiving. I not got lots of work to do.

I was wondering what became of that machine.
What needs to be done on it? Rust damage? I remember it looking pretty decent in the auction.

I've not had time to work it over, just got it yesterday. I know it is only surface rust though. The kick plate needs to be replaced. All the orginial shelves are there.

That is one nice machine! My wife loves 7Up, she keeps asking me to buy one for her(7up machine). Great excuse to buy VMC81 7up. If you do not mind, what did the 7up cost you??

GREAT SCORE

I got it for $1350 and free transport via the parents.

Signguy-that makes 3 generics. I 'm not sure what I'm going to make this one into. The other two are going to be Dr. Pepper and Orange Crush. I may do this one as a Barq's rootbeer. Any suggestions would be nice.  '<img'>
