Hi Gang, not long back from the British Version of the Chicago Coin Op show.

I've gone most years for the last decade and this year was probably the best for things other than jukes. By that I mean candy machines and soda stuff. It might be that I was looking for it more this year than any other.

Here are the pictures of the soda related stuff.

If you look closely you can see the price tags on the machines. They are in Pounds not Dollars so you have to almost double it.

The Vendo Coin Changer is the very first I have actually seen n the flesh and was really suprised by the size of it. Never expected it to be so big. That was priced at £1100.

The V-39 had poor paint and bits missing. That was £2200.

The Cavalier (first one I've seen) was about £3600

There were two V-44'S one was £4900 and the other £1900. The cheaper one had lots missing, basically just the cabinet.

There was also a RC Picnic cooler and a embossed 7UP cooler. You'll never guess what?? I was driving home and just happened to look on the back seat and there sitting all by itself was the RC Cooler. I have no idea how it got there. Magic... (That's what I told the wife. She didn't believe me but the kids did)

Lots of Jukes. Lots of Golden Age stuff that I just haven't seen at shows before. Mills and very early Wurlitzers. I know the stuff you guys run across at local garage sales.

Anyway. I had a great time and came away with a new addition to the room.

Thanks for giving us here in the US some insight in to the British Coin-op scene. That's great that you got to see some stuff that previously was unavailable. Thanks for the pic's!!
