It's been over a year coming but I finally got them on ebay.

Thanks Tom! collecture

Should arrive on Friday! I'll post pics as soon as I get them.

Now I'm on the wait list to get the machine painted he said before Thanksgiving he should have time.

Now all I need are the cap catchers, may end up calling Steve for those.

I thought the link I gave you was for one lid. Did you contact him about the other lid and he relisted with both and BIN? Anyway, congratulations and you are welcome!

Cool! Did he have an opening bid amount?
I guess it wouldn't have mattered though - huh? You've been looking too long for them.  '<img'>

Marsha,

Two virtues necessary to surive in this hobby are:
Patience and Persistance

It may have taken longer than you liked, but now you have them and it's time to finish the project!

They arrived this morning. They are in better shape than I thought they would be. One looks kind rough with paint peeld off in large places but the rust issue is minimal. Unlike the other lids.  ':<img:'>

Needs to be preped and painted.

All of that will be done as soon as I get the call from the body guy that he has time to paint the machine and lids.

Then I'll take all the pics i can and post them here for all to enjoy.

I'm ready. Got a new camera for anniversary so... now all I waiting for is the body/paint guy to call and say bring it in.

He's backlogged on some antique cars he's getting ready for a street show in November.
