so I pulled it out and started to work
on the tank, I forgot to put a block
under the main door and it fell over
in my driveway  my cement driveway

rechroming and new glass for the
bottle door . here is a few photo's
I just need to get it repaired.
 Remember always put a block

 Wow Pat!Sorry to hear!
Maybe this is a sign that you should have sold it a while ago? (J/K)
I hope you get it back up and running soon without too much trouble.

Sorry for your tragic day, the important thing is your OK "Hopefully", The machine can be fixed you cant. I almost flipped a 81 over on myself one time. I had the cooling unit out and the door open all the weight from the front door made it come forward. I quickly grabbed the front door and used the edge as a stop as it was coming down. Sorry for your misfortune.

Sorry to hear about your mishap.  It's hard to believe how heavy these machines are...  my C-51 started to fall over on me with the main door open and the ammo belt hanging half in and half out... one of my casters snapped at the hub and the others started to buckle.  I had visions of the door crashing through the wall and the door getting torn off, so I did my best Incredible Hulk imitation.  My life flashed before my eyes a few seconds later when I thought I'd given myself a hernia.    '> |

QUOTE The only thing that is hurt is my pride that all.
Well Pat - I had the same sort of weekend, but not related to Soda machines. I inherited a Koi vase from my parents. My wife was trying to grab a picture frame from the same shelf the vase was on. She should have grabbed a step stool as she was straining to reach the frame; however, she didn't and knock the frame over and it hit the vase knocking it over. The frame didn't break, but one of the Koi fins did. I came running in when I heard the noise. I picked the vase up and was holding it in my hand looking at it. Before I could blink, my 5-year-old grabbed the other fin and it snapped off too.
I think I can repair it alright, but I was a little P/O'd for a while. I know it was an accident and I forgive her and him. It is only a material thing.
Below is a picture of it before it broke.
